Eventus has led the planning and development efforts for Smith Senior Living’s two campuses that entailed the reconfiguration and expansion of its nursing and assisted living units, changes to independent living, common areas and resident services, and revisions to resident pricing. Smith Crossing in Orland Park began construction on a new short-term rehabilitation addition of 46 beds and a rehabilitation gym in summer 2018 and concluded in May 2020. The Smith Village campus in Chicago recently completed the construction of a new addition and renovations to its skilled care building. The result of the project yielded more single occupancy rooms, state of the art dining, and a new short-term rehabilitation space with more hospitality focused programming and also physical changes necessary to address issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
