Nowell Joins Eventus

Justin G. Nowell has joined Eventus Strategic Partners as Senior Development Manager. He brings over 10 years of experience in the senior living industry to the Eventus team.
IMG_5591.jpgMost recently, Justin was Director of Development at Erickson Living in Baltimore, MD. Previous roles include Director of Real Estate at CP Homes with a focus on development of assisted living facilities throughout the Southeastern United States; Development Manager at Greystone Communities, where he developed CCRCs in New Hampshire and in multiple locations in Florida; and Project Manager for Spring Creek Companies in Arlington, TX.

Garrett Joins Eventus as Development Manager

Today Jack Garrett joined the Eventus team as Development Manager. He has previous experience in senior living, health care, and proton therapy center projects among others. He has worked on projects across the country as well as internationally. Jack has a MBA in Corporate Finance & Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Drexel University.  

Eventus Retained by Edenwald

Eventus was retained to provide project development consulting services for the development of a facility Master Plan for Edenwald Retirement Community in Towson, Maryland. 

Lotus Mission Retains Eventus

Eventus Strategic Partners has been retained by Lotus Mission to assist in the formation of the framework for the development of the keystone of its vision: a home for young autistic adults that provides a social network, is wellness oriented, and is both safe and secure. The Lotus Mission was founded in fall 2012 outside of Philadelphia. 

Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant Officially Opens

on April 15, 2016

Built on 50 acres of farmland donated by the Miller family, Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant features 205 apartments, 36 dulex and single family homes, 20 assisted living suites, and 12 skilled nursing rooms. Community space includes formal and casual dining spaces, a fitness center, art and leisure arts space, wood shop, salon and spa, and a library. Still to come: an indoor pool. 

Eventus continues to serve as the development manager on the project. 

Eventus assists with significant refinancing for The Hill at Whitemarsh

on 08 April 2015.

The Hill at Whitemarsh had existing bond issues and related subordinated debt that substantially restricted its ability to access additional capital along with a challenged financial position diminished from major capital improvements after project completion. Eventus provided significant financial analysis and consulting with the bond underwriter in the planning for the refinancing of its debt and recapitalizing its balance sheet. Eventus then prepared financial forecasts demonstrating the feasibility of the refinancing and recapitalization that were incorporated in the bond offering statement. A successful closing was completed in March 2015 that not only refinanced the exiting bond issues, but eliminated the restrictive subordinated debt and reduced annual debt service by more than $1 million.

Duncaster, Dock Meadows, and Foulkeways Retain Eventus for Planning

Duncaster, Dock Meadows (part of Living Branches), and Foulkeways retained Eventus to lead their strategic planning efforts to re-evaluate the direction of previous plans for expansion or replacement of certain facilities.

Christian Healthcare Center Begins Formal Marketing of Major Expansion Project

Eventus has assisted with obtaining revised land use approvals and advanced the development plans for a major independent living addition to the campus of Christian Healthcare Center.  A new marketing office is opened and the Department of Community Affairs has approved the solicitation of priority deposits from prospective residents.  Eventus has also assisted management with securing the remainder of seed capital necessary to finance project development cost up to permanent financing.
